Water views and Cottages

Our family has a cabin on a small lake in Northern Wisconsin. Some of the scenes shown are from our little beach. Others depict neighbors who many times share cold drinks and lively talk. Some are from my visits while teaching at Barnsite Academy in Kewaunee, WI. Northern Door is another favorite painting location. The light is amazing between two bodies of water. A little like France mixed with Wisconsin.

Each painting holds a story of that moment in time. The visits from the friendly child artist hoping to create along side you. The energy of the passing cars and friendly honks. The noise and dust from the construction. The last bit of snow. Ten below zero in the sun.
